Tea Drops Adventure Day 8: China!
Welcome to China!
Ginger tea has a long history as a traditional drink and herbal medicine in China and throughout Asia due to the medicinal health benefits that the ginger root provides.

The practice of drinking tea has a long history in China, having originated there during the Tang Dynasty. Our Citrus Ginger Tea Drop soothes and awakens at the same time.

try this recipe:
Hot Citrus Ginger Bourbon Cider
1 Citrus Ginger Tea Drop, melted in 1-2oz boiling water
1 1/2 cups apple cider
2 whole star anise pods
2 cinnamon sticks
1oz of Bourbon of choice (or make without!)
1 orange or lemon slice for garnish
1 1/2 cups apple cider
2 whole star anise pods
2 cinnamon sticks
1oz of Bourbon of choice (or make without!)
1 orange or lemon slice for garnish
Directions:
In a medium saucepan, bring the apple cider, cinnamon sticks, and star anise to a simmer. Reduce to low and cook for 10 minutes to bring all of the flavors together.
Carefully taste to determine if you would like to adjust your spices. If you need to mellow out the flavors, add a tbsp of water.
Strain mixture directly into mug of melted Citrus Ginger tea, using a fine mesh strainer to catch the spices.
Add in bourbon to taste, stir to mix.
Add citrus garnish + enjoy!
