The 10th Annual Tea Lovers Festival, happening May 1-3 in Pasadena, California is a wonderful destination for experienced and tea novices alike. Quick Matcha Green Tea Latte

This is the perfect morning pick-me-up or late-afternoon treat that will be sure to keep that slump at bay! 

Ingredients:

1 Matcha Green Tea Drop
1/2 C filtered water
1/2 C almond milk (or your favorite milk variety!)
Vanilla extract to taste
Dash cinnamon, to taste

Directions:

Bring water to boil in a pot on the stovetop. Drop in your Matcha Green Tea Drop and stir until dissolved. Add in 1/2 of your milk and stir. Add a splash of vanilla extract and dash of cinnamon to taste, stirring until your latte is boiling in the pot. Pour into your favorite cup and enjoy! (Careful as you sip--it may be hot!)

Healthy Matcha Green Tea + Fudge Protien Bars

Makes: 10 bars

Ingredients:

1/3 C Almond Butter
1 cup Unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or milk variety of choice!)
1 tsp Stevia extract
10 Drops lemon flavor
8 Scoops vanilla protein powder (*recipe advises--do not use whey protien!)
1/2 C Oat flour
4 Matcha Green Tea Drops
8 oz. Mini dark chocolate bits

Instructions:

Line a baking  pan with parchment paper to keep your bars from sticking. Using a stand or hand mixer, combine the almond butter, milk, stevia and lemon, mixing on low speed. In a separate bowl, whisk together protein powder, oat flour and matcha powder. Add gradually to the stand mixer bowl, while still beating on low. Continue mixing until the mixture is even, scraping down the sides as needed. The recipe source states that your contents should resemble cookie dough.

Scoop the "dough" into the pan and flatten the surface a spatula or spoon. Cover the pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. The next day, slice your protein bars, drizzling them all over with chocolate, to taste. Enjoy!

Yerba Mate Energy Drink

Makes: 1 1/2 C, or 1 serving

 Ingredients:

1 cup boiling water 
1 Yerba Mate Tea Drop
1 1/2 tablespoons agave, honey, or Stevia 
2 tablespoons lemon juice 
Ice cubes 
Fresh mint (optional, to float in drink and garnish in bits on rim of cup)

Directions:

Prepare the Yerba Mate Tea Drop with water, as described on our box. Add sweetener and lemon juice. Add 6 ice cubes and stir melted and the drink is cold. If desired, wet the rim of your serving glass and coat with chopped mint. Fill glass with ice 3/4 of the way, adding in your energy drink. Enjoy!
