We know what you're thinking... coconut water? Healthy and so many benefits for your body? Sounds gross. WELL, we gave it a go and added it to our favorite Matcha recipes and guess what? It's pretty tasty. If you're looking to up your hydration game and replenish those electrolytes, we've developed two simple recipes for you.
Matcha Coconut Water (Refreshing)
This is the more refreshing of the two, it's clean and perfect for post workout, hike, or just on a warm day!
What you'll need:
Ice
1 Matcha Tea Drop
A bottle of Coconut Water
A can of sparkling water
A squeeze of lemon
Steps:
1. Dissolve Tea Drop in 2oz water
2. Pour over ice.
3. Add two parts coconut water
4. Add one part sparkling water
5. Stir and add a squeeze of lemon!
Iced Matcha Latte with Coconut Water (Rich and creamy)
Ice
1 Matcha Tea Drop
A bottle of Coconut Water
A cup of your favorite milk option (We love Oat)
Steps:
1. Dissolve Tea Drop in 2oz water
2. Pour over ice.
3. Add two parts coconut water
4. Add one part milk
5. Stir and enjoy!
