Tea Drops Adventure Day 7: England!

Welcome to England!

Lake District, Cumbria, UK
Since the 18th century, England has been one of the world’s largest tea consumers, and was instrumental in spreading tea from China to India!
Earl Grey tea originated in England and is a black tea flavored with oil from the rind of bergamot orange. Want a holiday indulgence? Try today’s Chocolate Earl Grey Tea Drop with a splash of milk — British-style!

    Did you know...

    1. The average Brit drinks 876 cups of tea every single year – enough to fill two bath tubs!

    2. Traditionally in England, milk was poured into the cup to protect the delicate bone china.

    3. There are more uses for tea than just drinking it. Cold tea is even said to be good for taking the sting out of a sunburn.

    4. It’s also a social drink: 80% of British office workers say they find out more about what’s going on over a cup of tea than any other way.
